We help our partners create insight-driven products and integrate patient-centered design processes within their organizations.
How We Work
We work with companies to leverage patient insights and co-develop products that customers love. We provide support in a variety of capacities, from ethnographic research deep dives to product development, and often pull together purpose-built teams of experts from our collaborator network to meet the specific needs of our partners.
We've worked with partners through:
- Product development collaborations
- Joint ventures
Learn about our collaboration with Aflac from our interview on Fox Business:
Catherine Hernandez-Blades, CCO of Aflac, and Aaron Horowitz, our CEO drop into Mornings with Maria to share about the My Special Aflac Duck program.
“Working with Sproutel has been truly inspirational. The compassion, care and innovation they bring to their work is clearly demonstrated in all that they do.”
Buffy Swinehart, Senior Manager, Cause Marketing, Aflac
“Sproutel is one of the most extraordinary partners I have ever worked with in a 30 year career. We selected Sproutel to work with Aflac to build a social robot to support children through their cancer treatments. At every turn, they over delivered. Sproutel built My Special Aflac Duck with smarts, nimbleness, and an always positive, can-do attitude to deliver to the children a companion to get them through their darkest moments with love and caring. I would recommend Sproutel to any organization that wants to support children’s health outcomes in a stunning new manner.”

“Brown's HCRI is excited to be working with Sproutel on such socially focused research. The work Sproutel does exemplifies the type of humanity centered robotics we aim to support at Brown's HCRI.”
Peter Haas, Associate Director, Humanity Centered Robotics Initiative, Brown University
